Ward was a born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. Ward went to Ouachita high school in the parish to complete her secondary schooling. Then she transferred to River Oaks High School the summer following her junior year. After graduating the school she attended was Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left her high school at thirteen years old and began modeling. Her acting career started a few more years down the road. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited part in 1970's soap-opera All My Children, and then was cast as an teen drama for NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the young Meg Cummings in late 1996.
